History

TWGHs Mobile Clinic (formerly known as “Mobile Information Station for Smoking Cessation”) provides assessments and medications for smoking cessation, encouraging smokers to take the first step toward a smoke-free lifestyle.

This Mobile Clinic service would be formally subvented by the Department of Health after the trial run in April 2021. By adopting a flexible mode of services delivery , the Mobile Clinic now adopt a proactive approach in stationing at different districts, providing service users a more efficient and convenient smoking cessation service with free-of-charge.

Objective

  • To educate the public on hazards of smoking (including hazards of second-hand smoke and third hand smoke)
  • To assist smokers in building healthy lifestyle through quitting smoking
