Jockey Club Tai Kok Tsui Integrated Services Centre (Fong Shu Chuen Service Unit)

History

Tung Wah Group of Hospitals has provided children and youth services in Yau Tsim Mong district since 1990. In response to the community needs, our unit combined the outreaching and school stationing intervention approaches to provide integrated service for the youngsters and their families in September 2002. We also extended our service for the elderly in 2003. After the modernization project in 2004, our centre became a modernized integrated centre for the chilren and youth, parents and the elderly. Our service unit also began to provide "Hope" Family Counselling Service in 2005 for the needy families.

Objective

• To provide one-stop services for the youth, parents and the elderly in developing their potential and facing chanllenges in different life stages.
• To strengthen the supportive networks between family, school and community so as to establish a positive growing environment for the children and youth.
• To enhance the mutual understanding among the youth, parents and the elderly so as to establish a caring community.
• To provide integrated services for the deprived youth and family.

Facilities

Our centre provides modernzied and proper facilities for the community so as to fulfill their needs and deliver holistic social services, such as karaoke room, piano room, study room, computer room, dancing room, band room, audio and video room, counseling room, pantry, play therapy room, and multi functional room.
