Introduction
As early as 2018, by applying the concept of "community capital utilization" and “sharing”, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals renovated 2 storeys of 56 Fuk Tsun Street and No. 1 Lime Street, Tai Kok Tsui, and developed as a youth co-living space. In 2021, "Fortune Library" was set up at No. 1 Lime Street with the innovative concept of “Library of Things”. It not only receives donation from the community of idling materials, “Kai Fong” in need can also borrow “things” (e.g. tools, toys, exercise equipment…etc.) from “Fortune Library for free. Other than “things”, people can also share their skills and time through the “Kai Fong Masters” campaign and volunteer activities. It aims at setting up a resources-sharing and mutual-support platform in the community to connect each other.
Objectives
To set up a “Resources-sharing and Mutual-support Platform” and facilitate “Kai Fong” to share resources, skills and time, and ultimately interconnects the powers in the society.
