History
Jockey Club Kin Yat Home commenced operation in April 1998.
Objective
It provides residential services, personal and health care, rehabilitation training such as physiotherapy & occupational therapy, as well as recreational activities to people with severe disability. With the spectrum of service provided, the Home aims at maintaining the quality of life of the residents, enhancing their community participation and to fully develop their potentials.
Facilities
The Home's floor area is about 1351 sq. m. Facilities include bedrooms, dining room, living room, therapy rooms and activity room. Moreover, there are communal facilities including multi-purpose hall, central kitchen, central laundry, tuckshop, rehabilitation garden, physiotherapy gymnastic centre, central occupational therapy room, hydrotherapy pool, and multi-sensory room. |
