History

Founded in June 1995, the Home is the first Long Stay Care Home run by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. It renders not only domiciliary care, but also rehabilitative services for the chronic mental clients, so that they can be reintegrated into the community. In recognition of a generous donation of $18.5 million from Mr. Yeung Sing's family to support the capital cost, the Home is named after the late Mr. Yeung Sing as "Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Yeung Sing Memorial Long Stay Care Home" in 1998. Since 2003, the Home expanded its service to those ex-mentally ill persons aged 15 or above.
