  • Provide different kinds of job training and production work to service users to enhance their working capability, including:
    • Assembly and packaging
    • Delivery service and leaflet distribution
    • Printing
    • Sewing, souvenir and handicraft making
    • Cleansing service
    • Outreaching retail and delivery service
    • Car beauty service
  • Provide job placement and referral service job coaching and follow-through support for service users to get involved in the job market
  • Provide whole-person development training to fully develop the potential of service users, including:
    • Social and communication skills
    • Adaptation skills
    • Community living skills
    • Job hunting and interview techniques, etc
  • Work Extension Programme :This programme aims at meeting the service needs of the service users who could no longer perform normal work tasks due to old age or deterioration in work abilities. The services include work activities for sustaining residual work abilities, social and developmental programmes and caring activities for meeting the health and physical needs of the service users.

"One stop integrated and seamless vocational rehabilitation services"

The IVRC serves as an one-stop base at which training and support can be rendered throughout the process of vocational rehabilitation of the service users. They can access to different vocational rehabilitation alternatives for training, supported employment, open employment service, with regard to their needs.

"Client-centred Approach"

A "Client-centered" approach is adopted so that the needs of service users are fully considered. Service users are involved in deciding their vocational needs and work direction.

"Diversified Vocational Training"

The IVRC had endeavored to develop diversified and community-based work training as to provide different work trades and training opportunities for the service users. Community-based training conducted in the real work setting could better enhance service users' adjustment and integration into the community.
