History

The Endless Care Services was established by the Elderly Services Section of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in 2009. It has two service units, namely Chun Tei Kok Buddhist Association Limited Centre of Life Enlightening and Life X Life & Death Educational Project. By offering funeral consultation and support to the bereaved persons, plan-ahead funeral arrangement and execution, life-and-death education programmes as well as professional training, it aims to encourage the elderly and also the general public to live a positive, fulfilling life upon entering the late stage, and by planning ahead for the funeral arrangements, so as to relieve the pressure of the elders as well as their caregivers in facing the end of life.

In order to break the taboo on death in the Chinese community, TWGHs Life X was set up in 2014 to offer a wide range of unique life-and-death education programmes, facilitating the members of the community to review and reflect on their lives so as to promote the message of "Cherish Life and Positive Living".

TWGHs Life X Life & Death Educational Project has launched some very innovative and interesting programmes, such as “Live to Love” Life Journey, “Life Destination”- Funeral Arts Exhibition, funeral hall and shroud design competitions etc., allowing the public to discuss life and death issues in an open, fun way.
