History
Sponsored by Dr. Edwin Leung, Chairman of Tai Hung Fai Enterprise Co. Ltd. and Group of Companies, Henry G. Leong Community Support Centre for the Elderly (HLCSCE) has started providing day training service for elders with dementia and other physical deterioration since December in 2013. In response to the needs and “Pilot Scheme on Community Care Service Voucher for the Elderly”, HLCSCE physical and Mental Activated Therapy , Thus, enhancing elders’ self-care ability and improving their quality of life.
Objectives
-
To provide one-stop-full-spectrum service to elders with dementia and their care-givers living in Eastern Kowloon.

To assist elders with dementia to remain living in their own homes and stay in the community;

To improve quality of life of demented elders and their care-givers;

To relief the stress of carer-givers
-
To encourage early identification and intervention for elders with dementia; and to promote public awareness on dementia.
