Regular activities are organized to build up close bonding between residents and their relatives
Nursing Service
Registered/ enrolled nurses are responsible for monitoring residents' health care needs. Clinical assessment and general nursing care e.g. administering medications, wound dressing, and body check up are performed for the routine care of residents.
Medical Consultation
Visiting Medical Officers (from both general practitioner and Hospital Authority) pay regular visits to residents for medical consultation. Medical appointments at hospitals and out-patient clinics are arranged when necessary.
Personal Care Services
Care workers are to take care of residents' needs in personal hygiene and assist the elders to perform daily activities like feeding, bathing and toileting.
A team of care professionals (doctors, nurses, social worker, physiotherapists and occupational therapists) will conduct the comprehensive care and individualized rehabilitative services for residents.
Rehabilitation Programme
Registered physiotherapist and occupational therapist will conduct assessment and tailor-made treatment for individual resident in order to maintain their physical functioning at a satisfactory level.
Dementia care service is provided by occupational therapist and social worker.
Nutrition and Special Diet Arrangement
Our Home provides 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and two snacks (tea and night time snacks) a day. Food menus are designed by nurses so as to ensure the provision of a well-balanced diet to residents.
Counselling Service
Professional social worker is responsible for rendering counselling service to residents in emotional and personal problems.
Therapeutic Groups
Different kinds of therapeutic groups e.g. memory training, reality orientation are designed to cater for the functional needs of residents.
Counselling and Referral Services
Referral service is provided by social worker according to residents' individual needs and other social aspects.
Social and Recreational Programmes
Various kinds of educational groups, interest classes, outings, seasonal/festive celebrations and mass programs are held regularly to enhance the residents' quality of life.
