i-dArt Presents“The Colorful Art Dreams of Grannies”
Being aged and visually impaired, as well as living in residential home, did create obstacles or opportunities?
These grannies did not have a chance to school when they were young, but started to learn ink painting
2 years ago.
At the beginning, they did not know how to start with even when they grabbed the calligraphy brushes.
Until now, they can draw as freely as they wish. We can trace their past experiences, memories of childhood,
country livelihood and faith towards life through their lines and strokes.
Their memories have hatched out these unique art pieces.
Different stages of life can be surprising and encouraging. Please appreciate it I wholeheartedly.
Let’s treasure their efforts and uniqueness.
