You’ve got Talent : YO2gether Variety Show
To showcase the hidden talents, vibrant personalities and incredible wisdom of our new older generation, a “You’ve got Talent” project was launched in our 10 Elderly Centres under Elderly Services Section funded by Board of Directors in past two years. A series of innovative and creative trainings and workshops including kick-boxing, cajon, acapella, shadow play, ukulele, handbell, juggling and magic, sign language drama and jazz dance were introduced. A finale variety show was held at the Jockey Club Auditorium, the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong on 15 December 2017. It was our houour to have Ms. Patricia Woo, Chief Social Work Officer of Social Welfare Department and Mr. Kazaf Tam, Vice-Chairman cum Chairman of the Community Services Committee, as the Officiating Guest. With the participation of over hundreds of elder dancers, singers, musicians and performers of variety plays, we enjoyed a joyful afternoon with over 700 audiences.
Our young old displayed their energetic character through Jazz dance.
Our officiating guest, Ms. Patricia Woo(right 8), Chief Social Work Officer of Social Welfare Department and Mr. Kazaf TAM (left 7), the 4th Vice-Chairman cum Chairman of Community Services Committee and 11 performance team’s delegates presided at of "Light and Shadow‧Movement‧Vocality‧Feeling" ceremony, symbolizing the opening of a new chapter in the life.
