The “Elder Academy 10th Anniversary Award Ceremony” was conducted at Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre on 2 November 2017, jointly with Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Pok Leung Kuk, Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association, NT West, Kowloon West, Hong Kong Island Elderly Academies Clusters. It was honored to have Mr Caspar Tsui, the Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Dr Lam Ching-choi, BBS, JP, the Chairman of Elderly Commission and Mr. Chan How-chi, the Chairman of the Committee on Elder Academy Development Foundation as our officiating guests. Besides TWGHs Shatin City One Elder Academy clinched the “Continuous Practice of Outstanding Elder Academy”, totally 17 of our elder members received the “Continued Leaning Award” or “Outstanding Senior Learner Award”.
